Ingredients:
Serves 4 people (double portions for 8)
- 4 British Wagyu Beef Burgers
- 2 red onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 gem lettuces
- 80g cheddar cheese
- 40g Dijon mustard
- 100ml mayonnaise
- 60ml tomato ketchup
- 30ml Henderson’s Relish
- 4 brioche burger buns
Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200°C
Peel the red onions, and slice or grate them finely
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil
Add the sliced/grated onions with a pinch of salt and sugar
Cook the onions until caramelised, put aside for serving

Season each of the British Wagyu Beef Burgers with a generous pinch of salt and pepper, and Henderson’s Relish
Add vegetable/olive oil to a baking tray, place the burgers evenly on the tray
Put the tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the burgers are properly cooked – no pink meat

While the burgers are in the oven, in a large bowl, combine and mix the Dijon mustard, tomato ketchup and mayonnaise – this is your tangy burger sauce
Grate or slice the cheddar cheese
Finely slice the tomatoes
Slice the brioche buns in half
Wash the gem lettuce and remove its leaves

Once the burgers are cooked, sprinkle the grated or sliced cheese on top of the burger patty, return to the oven for around 3 minutes until the cheese has melted
Heat a large, non-stick frying pan on low heat and add the sliced brioche buns, cook for 3 minutes until toasted

Once the melted cheeseburger patties and the brioche buns are cooked/toasted, you’re ready to build your ultimate Beef Wagyu Burger
First, spread plenty of the tangy burger sauce on each of the brioche bun bases, then stack the bottom brioche bun with a cheeseburger patty
Add some lettuce leaves, a few sliced tomatoes, and a handful of red onions on top of the cheeseburger patty
Top it all off with your brioche lid – your ultimate British Beef Wagyu Burger is finished and ready to be devoured
